Location

Traditionally there have always been TWO popular investment hotspots – London and the North of England (North West and North East regions). Now London is very expensive, rental yields are much lower and there is more uncertainty with future growth due to high interest rates negatively affecting high cost properties. Thus the best area is the North West and North East of England as shown on the maps above. Here demand is increasing as investors switch from South to North. All properties are located in 28 areas in the North. Majority are in the North East located in towns north of Leeds –  such as Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, Hartlepool, Teesside, Durham County (TS, DL and DH post codes). There are also Type H2L, H3L, H4L and H5L houses in the North West, mainly in the Lancashire towns north of Manchester, and prices on these are £10,000 higher than the prices shown. (rents on these are also correspondingly higher).
